China’s First Monolithic Dome Granary Featured in China’s “Grain News”

Recently, China’s Grain News featured the first Monolithic Dome granary in the country. Located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, the granary is comprised of two Monolithic Domes built by American Monolithic Dome builders, South Industries of Menan, Idaho.

Kay and Ernest Mudd moved into their 4900-square-foot, two-level Monolithic Dome home just about seven months ago, but they’ve already shown it to 1000 people. That number almost equals the population of their hometown: Dighton, Kansas. Located at the crossing of two state highways, K96 and K23, Dighton has about 1200 residents in its 0.9 square miles. So where did all the tourists come from?

Why and how Rocketship is building a Monolithic Dome gym and cafeteria

Rocketship Public Schools is constructing an early-elementary charter school in Fort Worth, Texas. The new two-story school building will feature an attached Monolithic Dome multipurpose gymnasium, cafeteria, and storm shelter. The concrete dome shell is complete and while we wait for the August 2022 opening, we can discuss two reasons this particular dome is unique - why they built it and the way it’s made.
