Rural Builder Magazine Features Domes

The May issue of Rural Builder includes a cover story on dome building. The lengthy feature article was written by Oliver Witte, who is a journalism professor at Southern Illinois University.

Since geodesic dome inventor Buckminster Fuller held a chair at that same university from 1959 to 1975, it is no surprise that the article focuses largely on the domes made famous by Fuller. But Monolithic Domes have their share of the limelight as well. The article spotlights the new Niangua, Missouri preschool and also provides a great overview of the Monolithic Dome building process.
