HGTV to Feature Hobbit House of Montana

Thanksgiving is still a few days away, but we are already giving thanks that HGTV is planning to feature the beloved Hobbit House of Montana on the show Home Strange Home on Thursday, November 24 at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific time. Host Chris Grundy will take viewers on a tour of the “magical shire in mystical Montana.”

Other homes on the Thanksgiving episode include a recycled structure tucked away in the Malibu hills, an Arizona mountain getaway, and a famous home with an unusual history and an even stranger architecture.

The Monolithic Dome home inspired by the Hobbits has been featured in recent months in the New York Times and MTV Extreme Homes, among other media outlets. Home Strange Home is the latest to take viewers on a voyeuristic indoor and outdoor tour of one of the nation’s most eccentric homes. Be sure to tune in on Thanksgiving Day!
