We Know Domes – Hire Monolithic Today

A Learning Process

As co-inventor of the Monolithic Dome and founder of the Monolithic Dome Institute, David B. South has fine-tuned our construction process and created a company that strives to make Monolithic technology available to all the world. Monolithic hopes to educate the public about Monolithic Domes and to provide professional services to its customers, by creating a successful partnership with them through all phases of their dome design, planning and construction.

Knowledge

Monolithic is the go to place for information on Monolithic Domes. We maintain an extensive website as a source of information for owners and prospective owners of all types of domes. This information is freely given; it can answer virtually any dome-construction question.

However, a significant amount of knowledge born of experience, that is either technical or applies only to a specific process, may not yet be documented on our website. If your questions are not answered via the website or printed material you may have already received, don’t hesitate to contact our office: [email protected] or 972-483-7423. We are eager and happy to answer your questions.

The Monolithic Dome is the greenest, safest, longest lasting building that can be built in our world today. Not only is it very reasonable in material price, but it is the least expensive to heat, cool and maintain. Savings in operating costs that equal the original building costs are the norm in less than 20 years.

From Concept to Completion

Monolithic works with the owner from conception to completion. We help the owner find a designer, engineer and financing when necessary. Our construction experience is unsurpassed. We are happy to do Design/Build or Construction Management.

Most importantly, as this is new technology we have the ability to evaluate the work of the designers and the contractors. By working with the owner and the subcontractors, very often, we can save everybody a substantial amount of money and heartache by making sure proper guidelines are followed.

To help with funding, Monolithic has access to many finance people to whom we can refer projects.

Teamwork

Monolithic’s staff works as a team. This is true of all divisions of Monolithic. We are organized into many departments to assist customers as effectively as possible. (Learn more about Who We Are and how the company is organized.)

Monolithic is large enough to handle any size or complicated project. Yet we are small enough to insure that all of our clients and projects receive excellent service and attention. The quality of our work, our company’s reputation and our ability to perform on schedule are of paramount importance to us.

References

Because mistakes are made in all types of construction, we have learned that checking references is an owner’s best option. We suggest that you look over the myriad of domes on our website, talk to their owners and call Monolithic; we’ll freely give you more references.

In all construction there are problems. The difference between a good and poor company manifests itself in how these problems are handled. Monolithic has the experience and the polish to anticipate and prevent problems, as well as efficiently deal with issues when they arise.

Evaluations

All prospective clients are entitled to reliable information on which they can decide whether to build, what to build and what the budget will be. It is important to get down to the specifics – to take time and effort to evaluate. For this reason Monolithic has developed tools we call Residential Feasibility Studies and Commercial Feasibility Studies.

We collaborate with the client and an architect or designer to design and define the project. After a project is defined a budget can be made.

In much of the construction world, design professionals are hired before they give any results. The reason is simple: It costs money to dig in and do the plans, so once they get started they want to stay with the whole project. A Monolithic Feasibility Study is unique: It allows the owner the option of backing out after the preliminary budget and evaluation is in place.

When two competing construction methods are being considered, it’s wise to do an evaluation on each. That way the owner can compare apples to apples and make an informed decision.

Monolithic Gets the Job Done

If you need a Monolithic Dome with all of its benefits – contract with Monolithic to get the job done. We have the experience and expertise to help you meet your commercial or residential building needs, on-time and within budget.
