Image: Monolithic Cabins are better insulated than any conventional structures. A simple 5000 btu AC unit will take care of the hottest summer. And a small plug-in 1500 watt heater is all that is needed for the winter. In general the Cabins will use 25% to 50% of the amount of electricity used by similar-size conventional units.

Image: The Monolithic Cabin will withstand huge amounts of winds, most tornado velocities. It is not rated tornado-safe as the concrete is a little too thin for that. But it is the safest building that can be moved on a truck. Windows are kept relatively small to prevent blow outs. This size is a simple 15-foot model for one or two people.

Image: When no longer needed at Site A, the Monolithic Cabin can be moved to site B. It takes but a few minutes to unhook and move one. Obviously there needs to be water and electricity at the new site. But sewer can be furnished by tank by those that service port-a-potties.
